ABC News four's Jon Bruce hit the streets armed with a one real note from a physician at the Medical College of South Carolina and four fakes to seek out out if on a regular basis folks could spot the difference.
"I think it's this one," said Alexander Lacon, a School of Charleston senior, pointing to one of the notes. "It has the stamp and a verification code."

So are these sham notes authorized to be sold online? ABC News four asked local attorney David Aylor present his opinion.
"They state clearly that this is fictitious docs and fictitious names, fictitious hospitals," Aylor said. "Once you look at the promotion of it; what they are promoting is the authenticity of the looking in that it could possibly be used as a type of trickery of an employer getting out of work and getting paid for it."
